CHAIR

• CHAIR: Marty Gilmore – male

Hi, I’m Marty Gilmore, running for re-election as Chair of the Jefferson County Democrats. When I became Chair four years ago, dissension within our organization was rife. Our contentious meetings were driving members away. I have worked since then to bridge divisions, encourage civil behavior, and make our organization and our meetings calmer and more productive. Our membership is growing again. Although we have to meet on Zoom this year, we have had more than 100 members in our Zoom meetings on several occasions. We have endorsed Democrats in Jefferson County, then helped their successful campaigns with our support, our GOTV efforts, and our contributions. In last month’s election, turnout in our county was more than 90%. We have had successful Fish Feasts including this year’s virtual Feast, and this year our pop-up headquarters was a huge success as well. Our financial position is strong. My role in much of our success was to build teams, then support and encourage them. When I first ran, I said I was going to focus on the future and focus on the County. Still true. Our local issues, including housing and our beautiful and fragile local environment, need our continued attention. Please vote for me so we can continue our successful work.

Hi! My name is Pamela Roberts. I’m excited to be running for Vice Chair. It’s been an honor over the last 3 years to serve on the Communications Committee and Executive Board, during a time when our party was challenged with serious divisions. Creating a positive, collaborative culture is extremely important. We want everyone to feel welcome, included and respected. I have a positive working relationship with our party members and leaders. I’ve worked closely with our Chair, Marty Gilmore, for years and we work well together to keep the important mission of our party running smoothly. My technology, graphic design and writing skills are utilized to manage our calendar, website, Facebook, newsletters, databases and marketing, but I also help lead events such as Fish Feast and the Biennial Reorg. I work with PCOs, District Reps, State Reps, and other Committee leaders to assist wherever needed and to help support platform issues such as affordable housing, health care, and climate action. My leadership background brings important expertise to this position. Before retirement, I was a principal in Seattle and then relocated to Jefferson County 20 years ago as principal of the Quilcene School. I became a WSU faculty member and Interim Director of WSU Jefferson County Extension. In those capacities for almost 10 years I worked as an organizational consultant with government agencies, non-profits, schools and businesses across our region. This gives me a broad perspective on the entire North Olympic Peninsula. I served as Director of Education at the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding in Port Hadlock and know how to inspire young people to get involved. My life’s mission focused on helping organizations perform to their highest potential. JCD deserves this level of expertise and I would be honored to receive your vote for Vice Chair.

Since 2018, I’ve served as your District 1 Rep. I’ve been elected twice as PCO for 708–thank you North Beach, for once again electing me to represent you. So why do I want to be your Vice Chair? Because real leadership takes teamwork. The board already knows I’m someone they can count on, because for the past two years I’ve been showing up and getting it done. I’ve been deeply involved in all aspects of the everyday work that keeps us functioning – the meetings, phone calls, emails and spreadsheet wrangling. I spearheaded Young Democrats events in 2018 and 2019, connecting youth with elected officials. I’ve marched in parades and staffed booths. I’ve made phone calls and door-knocked. I’ve missed only one board meeting. And when we “went virtual” I kept working – helping with tech, staffing committees, doing whatever needed to be done to Get Democrats Elected. We managed endorsements online. The FishFeast went virtual; allowing us to open our wildly successful Headquarters, where I was Saturday manager. Our efforts at HQ grew membership back to pre-2016 levels, and added dozens of volunteers. Our party is thriving due to teamwork, and I’m proud to have played a key role in making that happen. I have a firm grasp of both JCD’s major objectives and the nuts and bolts of how things get done. I’ve got the tech skills to help us thrive in a virtual world, a deep understanding of our policies and bylaws, and the administrative chops to pull teams together and make those goals a reality. My skills are complementary to the Chair’s and will help make our party stronger, more efficient, and more cooperative. As your State Committee Representative (SCR) it has been my honor to represent you and the Jefferson County Democrats on the Executive Board of the Washington State Democrats (WSDs). My SCR peers-from the 6 Counties and 8 Legislative Districts (LDs) that make up the 6^th Congressional District-elected me CD6 Representative. I joined with them and with WSD’s Party officers and DNC members to assist our State Party Chair to prepare for a Presidential-Election-year. We identified, trained and organized volunteers to elect Democrats statewide. We developed a Delegate Selection Plan and a Code of Conduct. As your 6^th CD Representative and SCR I had the honor to organize the election of 6 National Delegates to the Democratic National Convention from a field of 45 candidates and 193 State Delegates. Appointed by our State Party Chair to serve as Co-Chair of the WA State Resolutions Committee I organized, along with my Co-Chair, a Committee of 42 SCRs who reviewed submissions from around the State and made recommendations to the WA State Democratic Central Committee. We also successfully updated the WSD’s Rules for Resolutions. The State Party develops its’ Platform during Presidential-Election years. I served as Co-Chair of the Platform Committee. Its’ 40 members constructed the State Party Platform that the 2020 WSD State Convention approved. Voting is sacred to me; I joined other JCDs to phone bank and get out the vote. As a Psychologist and Medicare Provider I continue to care for elderly in nursing homes. I also serve on the Peninsula College Foundation Board, on the Ombudsman Advisory Council, and the Jefferson County ICC Human Services Group developing recommendations for COVID-19 recovery. Hello my name is Thomas Kuykendall. I’m a 23 year old LQBTQ+ candidate. I was born and raised in Washington state. I work at the Food Co-op in Port Townsend and I’m running for State Representative and Commissioner District 2 Representative. I was recently elected to PCO for Precinct 303 in Jefferson County, and am aiming to help my community in any way I can. I was a state and national delegate for the Democratic presidential primary, and have helped political campaigns at the County, State, and National level. I work hard as an active Democratic phone caller, recruiter, leafleter and strategizer. You would not be surprised that I, as a young Democrat, support the Green New Deal, LGBTQ+ rights, Black Lives Matters’ fight for civil rights and an end to police brutality and a Public Health Care option. We need more people in politics who will fight for our future, our environment, our health care, and our civil rights. These things are so important to our future and I am motivated to help lead so that we make headway in these areas. Our Democratic Party needs more youth voices involved in the process and I have made it my mission to bring the voices of my constituents to the table. With my optimism and fresh eyes, I know I can help instigate increased involvement of young people in our organization. I believe I can inspire, be a voice for, and represent our community. Hi, I’m David Griffiths, and I am seeking re-election to the State Committee seat that I’ve held for the last two years. In that time, I’ve made a sincere effort to bring to our discourse as a party, at the local, state, and national levels, perspectives which are still too-often overlooked. Locally, I’ve served as Vice Chair of the JCD’s Affirmative Action Committee, helping to bring a greater understanding of the importance of accessibility, inclusion, and equity, not only for people with disabilities, or members of other historically marginalized communities, but for all of us. Through the State Committee, I’ve served as a Vice Chair of the Disabilities Issues Caucus, and an at-large board member of the Economic Justice Caucus, as well as a general member of the Stonewall, Progressive, and SOCAS (Separation of Church and State) caucuses. I’ve also interacted with the Native American, Latino, Veterans’, and Labor caucuses on various issues. I also sit on the state Affirmative Action Committee, through which I helped with the work on the Delegate Selection and Affirmative Action Plan for the 2020 election cycle. In August of last year, I attended a DNC meeting, as an at-large/public member of the DNC Disability Council. Since then, I have helped to build and grow relationships with Disability Caucuses in other states, especially across the Western Region. I’ve also had the honor of giving input on the Disability Rights platforms of multiple presidential and congressional candidates. I am still committed to making this party a bigger, better, stronger, and more inclusive “us”, and I hope you will allow me to continue working toward this goal on your behalf, because I still believe that you deserve it as much as I do.

I am running for State Party Representative to ensure that we are fully equipped and prepared to build back better as a community of Democrats with swift and efficient coordination with the state. As a former LGBTQ+ resident of Mike Pence’s Indiana, I fully understand the urgent need to weed out hate, rebuild our nation and re-establish the unity it is so famous for. As a long time grassroots organizer I have a proven, demonstrated track record of progressive growth over 13 years of experience as the link between the community, local, state and national campaigns, organizations and governments. I believe that there is room at the table for all people and perspectives in the democratic party, from far to center left, we all have something to contribute. I believe we can find equitable ways to integrate progressive values, such as environmental protections, police reform, equity for minority and LGBTQ+ populations and progressive economic and healthcare solutions without being alienating or exclusive of our community at large. A strong democratic party, is a united democratic party which facilitates a stronger and more united United States. I believe that I have the existing report with current state party officials and local party leaders statewide to naturally transition into an effective representative of the Jefferson County Democrats.

SECRETARY

• SECRETARY: Patricia Jones – female

Jefferson County Democrats – I am nominating myself to serve a transition tenure as Secretary for the Jefferson County Democrats. It has been an honor, sometimes fun, and always interesting to serve the Democrats for the past two years as Secretary. I am also a PCO in the great precinct No. 201 – District 3. I view the role of Secretary as a support, yeo-person’s role to make sure members and officers, and the public, have access to information they need to make informed decisions about important democratic and human rights policies before our County and organization. The Secretary supports the membership, Chair and Vice Chair, the EBoard, and the Central Committee, to help backstop meetings with organizing documents and information and documenting important decisions. I hope to improve to get minutes out as timely as possible. I also look forward to identifying, with the Chair and leadership, others who may want to try out volunteering in the role to likely do a better job! As a working person, and part time caregiver for aging parents, I also think it is important that our organization include the many voices of experience that make up our wonderful Jefferson County, Washington State and country. As a PCO in District 3, I also will serve to bring a voice from South County to our organization, bringing important geographic diversity to our EBoard. I also look forward to working within the JCD membership, EBoard, Central Committee and elected officials on important social and environmental justice issues before our County. TREASURER

• TREASURER: Martin Ivers – male

Currently serve as elected Treasurer and member of the Executive board of Jefferson County Democrats. Have served as Treasurer since 2017. Member of Jefferson County Democrats since 2012 and member of Executive Board in 2013. PCO 2013 – 2020. Caucus chair 2016. As Treasurer I have developed the knowledge and skills needed for the mandatory record keeping and filing requirements of the WA Public Disclosure Commission and use the PDC ORCA software. I use QuickBooks for accounting and maintain the JCD bank account. Treasurer is responsible for receiving, depositing, and reporting all income and paying and reporting all expenses. The Treasurer files the Annual Report to WA Secretary of State. The Treasurer develops and maintains an annual budget, and reports to the Executive Board at each meeting. During the last two years I have maintained a close working relationship with Deborah Pedersen, Deputy Treasurer, who has carried primary responsibility for accounting and routine reporting. She has done an outstanding job. This partnership has assured the Party of competent and consistent financial management. Deborah has assured me that if I continue as Treasurer, she will continue as Deputy and perform the day to day accounting. Candidate Biography: • VA Director, Information Systems, West Coast and Pacific Region. • Chaired council of Directors managing development and implementation of VA healthcare information system. • President, DI*Star Medical Systems. Partnered to win largest healthcare information systems contract with DoD, and lead software development. • Vice President and Chief Scientist, Science Applications International. Lead software development team, and systems engineering for implementation of healthcare information system for DoD hospitals and clinics. Graduate Education: MA Psychology, MPH Hospital Administration, DrPH Health Services Administration.

DISTRICT 1 REPRESENTATIVE

• DISTRICT 1 REP: Otto Smith – male

The District 1 Rep sits on the Jefferson County Democrats executive board which allocates money to candidates, recommends endorsements, and proposes new policy. One job of the District Rep is to coordinate with district Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs). I will work with PCOs to identify and encourage more young people and progressives to join the party and will work to get out the vote for candidates whose positions align with our platform. Our bylaws state the first purpose of the party: “A. To elect to national, state, county and other offices Democratic candidates who embody, support and promote the PLATFORM of the Jefferson County Democrats, and to support them while in office as they act to improve the well-being of the citizens of Jefferson County.” Our platform calls for “An affordable universal single-payer” health care “system.” Polls show that 69-70% of the country want Medicare for All. Our current congressman does not support this nor the Green New Deal, nor a reduction in the military, nor many other planks in our platform and resolutions. We should push all candidates seeking our endorsement, on these issues. Our platform calls for all those seeking our endorsement to either support our platform or “supply in writing a document explaining those planks of the platform which they do not support and optionally their reasons for withholding support”. Lets not ignore these planks any longer. I support the Green New Deal, the Black Lives Matter movement and reducing military spending. Locally and nationally I believe more money should be spent for social services and less money should be allocated to the police, drug usage should be decriminalized and that the police should not be first responders to mental health crises. I believe that No One is Illegal, and that Love has no Gender.

• DISTRICT 1 REP: Gary Larson – male

I’m running for re-election to the JCD Executive Board as your District 1 Representative. I would like your vote. Besides serving on the Executive Board, district representatives are expected to recruit PCOs and support their activities. I want to continue working with the board and District 1 PCOs to enhance opportunities for member participation. Together, we can meet our common goal: electing and engaging with Democrats who will effectively represent our party principles. Our party’s work locally since 2018 has led to impressive results. Despite limits of the pandemic, 2020 shines as we successfully grew our membership, raised funds, and got out the vote for Democrats. I believe I’ve fulfilled the responsibilities of District 1 Representative and helped the party achieve its successes. For example, I produced advice on writing letters to elected officials and newspapers; it’s on the Political Action page of our website. I also created and distributed to District 1 PCOs an easy-to-use version of the Executive Summary for the most recent JeffCo Democrats Platform. It’s on our website’s Documents page. For the 2020 primary election, I requested and published on our website campaign statements by PCO candidates. I also invited PCO candidates to make presentations that I moderated at a virtual membership meeting. In addition, I managed the JCD effort to publish newspaper ads promoting the primary elections and our endorsed candidates in the general election. And I led the JCD team that produced and mailed 13,000+ slate cards listing our endorsed candidates. During the next two years, I want to focus even more on improving communication with District 1 PCOs and members. I also want to highlight political action opportunities for PCOs and members to advocate for policies in our party platforms. Please vote for Gary Larson for District 1 Representative.

• DISTRICT 1 REP: Judy D’Amore – female

Hi, I’m Judy D’Amore and I’m running for District 1 Rep. You probably know me as a cofounder of the Port Townsend Marine Science Center and developer of educational programs to inspire curiosity, knowledge and stewardship of the marine environment. After retirement I became active in Jefferson County Move to Amend, a local group affiliated with state and national organizations working to end the influence of big money and corporate power over our government and our legal system. We helped pass initiative 735 in 2016 and convinced Rep. Kilmer to cosponsor HJR 48 in support of a Constitutional amendment to clarify that corporations are not people and money is not speech. I’m also a devoted grandmother, and I’m extremely concerned about the world they and all our grandchildren will face if we fail to respond aggressively to climate change. I strongly support legislation for the Green New Deal and an end to tax subsidies for fossil fuel corporations. We’ve all seen how badly our current employer-based, profit-driven healthcare system has failed us during this pandemic. I strongly support Medicare for All nationally and I’m interested in Whole Washington’s proposal for universal healthcare here in Washington. I’m also a strong supporter of LGBTQ rights, immigrant rights and Black Lives Matter. To support the campaigns, political candidates and issues I care about I have I canvassed, phone banked, gathered signatures, created and distributed flyers, organized public meetings, written letters to the editor, questioned candidates at town halls and persuaded others to join me in contacting our elected officials. I was an Area Caucus Coordinator in 2016. I look forward to hearing your ideas and working with this team to carry out the platform of Jefferson County Democrats for a more just and sustainable world.

It’s been a privilege to serve on the E-Board as your District 1 Representative for the past two years. Thank you, District 1 voters, for trusting me to represent you. I want to continue the good work we’ve begun in rebuilding our party at the grassroots level, which resulted in JCD becoming a recognized regional leader. As a local party from a solidly blue county, with growing membership and good financial management, we’re a resource for neighboring counties and Legislative Districts. And that’s important– Democrats hold only a thin majority in the State Senate, and a Republican backlash in 2024 could tip that balance. Now is the time to focus on what matters – to work together to elect Democrats, in every race and every place! “Good Governance” isn’t something we’ve seen a lot of nationally for the past four years. But as Democrats, it’s still our shared goal. A future that protects and includes everyone starts at home. Defeating Trump is just the first step of our long hard fight against Trumpism. The best way to protect the Democratic values we all cherish is to roll up our sleeves and work together. Our membership is clear they want local party leadership to focus on electing Democrats! Greetings, Democrats. In 2008, I was elected and served as the Vice Chair of the Jefferson County Democrats. Since then, I’ve worked behind the scenes and on the Board to assure the success of our organization. The Party’s work is important to me, as I have proved by consistently volunteering to deal with the nuts and bolts of this organization for twelve years. Being a District Representative will be a new role, and it’s one I’m ready for. I’ve lived in District 1 for nearly 40 years. I know the electorate. I follow Port Townsend City government and can work with District 1 PCOs to keep them connected and informed. I attend Zoom meetings on political subjects at nearly every opportunity. I’m familiar with VoteBuilder, the PCOs’ primary tool. I will work to recruit a PCO for appointment in Precinct 701. Our party thrives when board members put their shoulders to the wheel to provide leadership in policy and group action, and when communication between the board and the membership is strong. Leadership from the board is essential to achieve a fair endorsement process, pull off a successful fundraiser, or raise our profile in the community. I am well-equipped to do this work. I have a track record as a diligent and ethical member and leader of this party. I can contribute historical and practical knowledge on policy, logistics, finance, and technology discussions that come before the board. Our bylaws call for district representatives to recruit and assist in the activities of PCOs in their Commissioner districts. PCOs are the main point of information and contact for voters. This is one of my main interests. It is also my belief that our local party organization is at it’s best when we reach out to voters. It is what makes us a political party. Voters need to know we are interested in their opinions and concerns. We as a party need to know their party leanings. And some Democrats need reminders that their vote matters. Most PCOs need assistance in using canvassing tools. The pandemic has made this a daunting challenge we have to work around for the time being. I have worked at helping PCOs and others to be effective canvassers. I also believe in and want to support party members respecting our diverse backgrounds and positions on issues. Our diversity is a strength. It is helpful to understand different perspectives and to allow debate so we can all learn from each other. The pandemic has made this a daunting challenge also. Our temporary campaign headquarters reminded us how important it is for people to have opportunities to be with others that think like they do. I am John Hamilton, and I am running for the JCD Executive Board position of Representative from District 2. I have lived in District 2 for 10 years and have served as PCO for 8 of them. Before moving here, I was a PCO for 10 years in Snohomish County. My goal for the District 2 position is to work with PCO’s in our District to build on information flow to members and target non-members to bring them into the JCD or get them identified as to their political leanings. I have been continually active in the JCD including organizing the Dems participation in the annual Rhody Parade. I also supply the truck/trailer, which has come to be known as our official Dems Rhody float. This gives Jefferson Democrats visibility and recognition to the community. I have also organized the Jefferson County Fair for JCD and managed to relocate us into a more prominent place for visibility and vastly improved our outreach. These are the things we need to be doing to continually build our Democratic Party on a local basis and maintain this county and state being run by good Democrats. We can’t change the world from here, but we can work to maintain and grow our Democratic values. Please vote for John Hamilton for District 2 Representative on the JCD Executive Board.

An active Democrat for years, I was secretary of the Democratic party and a presidential campaign organizer in Grayson County, Virginia, where I lived for 25 years. I had the amazing experience of being a Delegate at the Democratic National Convention in 2016, serving on the Rules Committee, which gave me insight into how to work within the Democratic party. Locally, I am focused on affordable housing, increasing services to address the hunger and poverty that have grown exponentially during the pandemic, and promoting an equitable legal/justice system that treats everyone fairly. My priorities are taking back the Senate, growing the Democratic majority in the House, and working for candidates who support programs the majority of Americans want, including Medicare for All and a Green New Deal. Outcomes across the country show that candidates who support these proposals win elections. Since moving to Cape George in 2017, I have attended Democratic meetings and phone banked and canvased for local and national candidates. If elected, I will work to support the PCOs in District 2, voting on party issues and caucusing, providing accurate information about candidates, and reaching out to neighbors in the community. • DISTRICT 3 REP: Chelsea Pronovost – female

Hi all, my name is Chelsea and I am a public servant, a proud union member, and am currently starting my second term as a Precinct Committee Officer for Precinct 103. In the five years that I have lived in Jefferson County, I have strived to be involved in my community and make a difference. In addition to being an elected PCO, I am on the steering committees for two environmental groups (Kitsap Environmental Coalition and the Jefferson County Environmental Coalition), I was on the JCD Bylaws Committee last year, and I was a delegate for Bernie Sanders at the Washington State Democratic Convention. I am a passionate advocate for fairness and equity in our government policies and elections, which is why I joined our local chapter of Move to Amend, which strives to amend the constitution to end corporate rule in this country; I even travelled to Washington, D.C. last summer to lobby for support of our constitutional amendment. Finally, I believe I would bring a unique perspective to our Executive Board-I am a young professional who lives off-grid in Quilcene-this makes rural connectivity and accessibility a big issue that I would like see focused on in our policies, especially in this new Covid digital world. I would appreciate your vote, and look forward to seeing you all in person again someday!

I am running for re-election as your District 3 Representative and member of the JCD Executive Board. It has been an honor for me to serve in this position for the past 6 years, working with the dedicated and hardworking PCOs, Board members, and the many volunteers that have made our local Party so successful. This has included working in the election process, canvasing, GOTV efforts and support of local campaigns. I have also helped with Fish Feast planning and with setup and take down. Our goal has been to build our local democratic party, elect democrats, and work with them to address the important issues in our communities. As District Representatives and PCOs we have engaged with our District 3 neighbors on issues including the health of Quilcene Bay, housing, health care, local farmers, connectivity, and gun ranges. I helped with the research efforts to identify pollutants and monitor the health of Quilcene Bay. All these efforts can help keep county commissioners informed of what is happening and what is needed in our District. I am a retired Coast Guard Officer, and I have a Masters in Public Administration. I have also been a licensed contractor, working in home construction. I have lived in Quilcene for 20 years and was a PCO for 4 years. I ask for your vote to continue working with the dedicated members of the Jefferson County Democrats as we address the challenging issues that face us as we live with the pandemic.

The events before us in district three can be a game changer for the entire county if we do not give them vigilant care. We have the Paramilitary training center, the degradation of Quilcene Bay and Hood Canal, increasing population which brings housing challenges and impacts our vital farming economy, our environment, roads and schools, as well as pressures on our treasured National park and other parks. We have a very important Port Commissioner race before us, a planning commission that is turning red and many other challenges that go to the core of what we care about and why we live in this beautiful area. Last time I ran for district rep I said that I would not run if someone younger stepped up to the plate whom I felt was fit for the job of District Rep. Chelsea Pronovost answered the call and I feel that it is my job to mentor her and step aside. I feel like I can better serve the County and the Democrats from my vantage point of an organic farmer, experienced past park commissioner, businessperson and environmentalist. I can continue my work on the planning commission, on the Linger Longer Advisory Committee and other community organizations and provide support and information to the county Democrats. I also am trying to build a sustainable model on my farm and am working to change a state law to vastly improve the viability of small farms, thus our food security in our county. It is with my blessing and good wishes I wish to withdraw from the district three race and hope to build support and education on local issues that the Democrats can use to make the best decisions for our area. HOW TO VOTE AT THE “REORG” MEETING

1. UNIQUE ID: JCD Members who register and are credentialed as active JCD members by Dec. 11, will receive their UNIQUE ID on Saturday, Dec. 12. Their Unique ID will be sent to the email address the member used when registering. This Unique ID will be emailed to them from jcdreorg2020@gmail.com

You must have your Unique ID in order to vote on Dec. 13.

2. ZOOM LINK: Registered voters will receive the Zoom link and Zoom phone numbers shown above along with their Unique ID through an email on Saturday Dec. 12. Other participants can access the Zoom meeting through the Zoom link or Zoom phone numbers posted above and on the JCD website at https://jeffcodemocrats.com/.

3. HOW VOTING IS INITIATED

ON ZOOM: The Chair will announce when a ballot is active during each voting period. Members logged into the meeting on Zoom will see the ballot link in the Chat window. When members click on the link in the Zoom chat window, they will see the active ballot appear in a new Window.

VIA EMAIL: Registered voters will also receive a list of all the ballot links by email shortly before the meeting starts at 10 am on Sunday, Dec 13. These links can also be used to vote by people who are participating in real time in the meeting by telephone, smart phone, tablets and computers.

The Chair will announce which ballot is active during each voting period. Members can then click on the correct ballot link in the email list to vote. Each link will be activated for use as the meeting proceeds so participants have to wait until the voting period to use each ballot link.

4. VOTING. Voters must be present in the Zoom meeting as a participant for any race in which they vote and be present in the Zoom Meeting at the time they submit their ballot. Clicking on the ballot link will open the ballot in a tab or window in your browser. You must fill in all fields on the ballot in order to make a choice. It is preferable to type in your case-sensitive ID rather than cutting and pasting it to avoid accidentally adding extra leading or following spaces.

You must click the “Submit” button to record your vote during the balloting period. The opening and closing times will be announced from the podium by the Chair. When you have submitted your ballot, remember to close the tab or browser window for that ballot and return to the Zoom meeting window. Once your ballot is submitted you will receive an email confirmation of your vote sent by “Google Forms”.

5. HOTLINE: The HOTLINE provides Accessibility Accommodation to members who want to vote at the time of the voting period, but lack access to technology to cast their own vote in real time. The HOTLINE exists to facilitate these members during the voting period who need voting assistance in real time – either because they cannot access Zoom via an electronic device, or do not have email access because their Internet connection failed during the ballot voting period in real time. The HOTLINE number will be shared at the beginning of the meeting through Chat and will be announced by the Chair.

6. ELECTION RESULTS: After each voting period, the results will be announced and displayed to show the total votes and percentages that each nominee received and a pie chart to show the results visually.
